About Us

AAUW Mission: To advance gender equality for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy

Our Local Branch Mission: To advance equity for women and girls through education and networking within our diverse community

The Marysville-Yuba City Branch of AAUW is in Yuba and Sutter Counties in Northern California. We are a club of about 90-100 active and diverse women.  We meet monthly from September to June, and have a number of Interest Sections including: dinner and lunch groups, books, writing, movie, and advocacy and action groups.

Learn how to become a member on our JOIN page. Our branch was chartered in 1955 and has been changing our local community ever since with our STEM Conference for 8th grade girls, Tech Trek science camp for 7th grade girls, and college scholarships.  We hope that you will join us for our annual fundraiser, the AAUW GARDEN TOUR, the first Saturday in May.
